Orlan Toews joined our team in 2012 and quickly became an indispensable part of our team. He says, “variety is the spice of life!” and his work experience reflects that. Orlan prepared his first tax return when he was 16 and has prepared at least one every year since. He grew up on a farm in Northern Alberta and has 15 years of experience in the automotive industry and over ten years of construction experience. He also knows the challenges of starting and running his own business. In 2010, he relocated with his wife and five children to southwestern Ontario and currently has a small sheep farm to keep him occupied when he’s not at the office.
Orlan enjoys working with technology to streamline your record keeping and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail. Varied work experience, and a broad range of interests, from culinary arts (the only art that involves all of your senses!), pioneer living and history, to today’s technology, keeps him busy learning all the time.
Orlan has earned his advanced certification in both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop and can assist with any troubleshooting or accounting entries that might have you stumped.
