Prior to the merger with ATMOS, David successfully operated Priority Taxation for just over 20 years, where he provided financial advice and tax strategies tailored to a diverse range of industries, including fishing, construction, and manufacturing. Growing up near the small town of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, David developed an early connection to the local economic pillars of fishing, farming, and forestry, shaping his understanding of the unique financial needs of these sectors.

David holds a DFA-Tax Services Specialist designation, an Advanced Certification in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper. His extensive qualifications underscore his expertise in tax planning, particularly for farmers, fishers, and other small businesses. David is known for being a trusted advisor to his clients, forging strong relationships that often evolve into lasting friendships.
