Bonita Friesen

Bonita is an Accounting Technician at ATMOS Financial Services, bringing a wealth of diverse experiences and a passion for numbers to our team. Growing up in rural northern Alberta, Bonita developed an adventurous spirit that led her to live and work across five provinces in a variety of industries. This rich background has equipped her with a unique perspective and adaptability, enhancing her ability to serve our diverse client base.

In 2018, Bonita embarked on a career in accounting at Red River College, where she earned her Accounting Certificate in 2023. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Athabasca, furthering her expertise and working towards her CPA designation. Additionally, Bonita is a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, showcasing her proficiency in one of the leading accounting software platforms. She thrives on working with spreadsheets, solving complex problems, and continuously learning, making her a valuable asset to our accounting team.

At ATMOS, Bonita is responsible for preparing working paper files for compilation engagements and assessing client information to ensure accurate and efficient file preparation. Her meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills ensure that our clients’ financial reporting is accurate, reliable, and actionable.

Outside of her professional life, Bonita finds rejuvenation in exploring maritime coastlines, where the saltwater, tides, and shoreline offer a perfect escape. She also enjoys various creative endeavors such as macramé, oil pastel painting, coloring, and crochet, which allow her to express her artistic side. Bonita’s love for the outdoors and creativity complements her systematic approach to accounting, bringing a balanced perspective to her work.

Living in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, Bonita enjoys the serene coastal environment and the vibrant community it offers. Her adventurous spirit and dedication to both her personal and professional growth make her an integral part of the ATMOS team.
